3-Day San Francisco Panoramic Photography Workshop
(This workshop is limited to 8 students)
(This panoramic is the combination of 36 images, creating a final stiched image of 425 megapixels!)
Come learn how to capture extremely high resolution photographic images with extreme detail!
This workshop is focused (literally) on teaching you all the techniques required to capture and stitch single and multi-row panoramic images.
We will spend 3 full days in and around the San Francisco Bay Area shooting in the field as well as learning in the classroom, to teach you from beginning to end, everything you need to know to capture extremely high resolution panoramic images!
This workshop will teach you both single row and multi-row panoramic techniques.
Single-row panoramic images require the merging, or "stitching," of the sequential edges of two or more images.
Multi-row panoramic images require the merging ("stitching") of both sequential edges of images and their neighboring sequenced images in the adjacent rows. Much like a puzzle, each image must have the correct alignment in order for it to "fit" into its unique location of the scene.
Once we've captured a few panoramic images in and around San Francisco, we will return to Aperture Academy for a classroom workshop on how to stitch and post-process your images. We will cover the best practices of pre-processing, stitching, error correction, and final post-processing.
